Most trailers a very customizable, find the best style that works for you and pick the manufacturer you want to go with. Determine how big of a space you will need on the deck on how much weight you plan on putting on the trailer. Be sure to make a list of any additional options you would like to see added to your trailer.

Most common trailer used today. Normally built in a simple design with 12-inch tall open sides and equipped with a rear gate. Commonly used for hauling off road vehicles like utv's and other general hauling needs.

Built just like a utility trailer with the added benefit of having meshed in sides. Typically the sides come in 2ft or 4ft heights. Very commonly, owners like to add options like storage boxes, shovel racks, weed eater racks, water/fuel can holders, and other tool holding accessories.

CAR-HAULER STYLE
Flatbed trailer with no side that is designed with a stronger frame to hold cars or other heavy loads. Can be built with a totally flat deck or add options like a dovetail back end or buggy/sand-rail side runners.

Used to normally haul a general small cars. A Car-Dolly costs less than a full size car hauler and takes up less space when not in use. You get your choice of having No Brakes, Electric Brakes, or Hydraulic Surge Brakes.
